Meet Dr. Dayn Boitet

A Love for Healthy Smiles

I grew up in Fort Wayne, IN, and attended Indiana University for both undergraduate and dental school. I graduated with honors, so I can assure you I stayed awake during class! I was honored to receive an academic-based scholarship from the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Jacksonville as soon as I graduated from dental school.

I started in private practice in 1981 and am still as enthusiastic about the profession as I was then. Dentistry has made many wonderful and exciting changes and advances. Our practice prides itself in staying at the forefront and providing our patient family with the best and newest, yet proven, technologies and treatments. We attend a lot of continuing education courses in order to achieve this.

We offer an incredible, unique patient experience. I’m passionate about our team being patient-focused and always having a positive, compassionate regard for those in our care.

In the Community

I’m extremely proud of our community involvement, not only in dental matters, but in charitable outreach, too. We take on a new, major community charitable endeavor each quarter. Many of our patients contribute to these and are entered into our monthly drawings and contents for their participation.

In the spring of 2016, I will serve as the Clinical Co-Leader for the Florida Mission of Mercy event at The Prime Osborne Convention Center. We will convert the convention center into a 165 chair dental clinic, to provide free oral healthcare to those less fortunate here in Northeast Florida. Over 30 states have hosted these events and this will be the largest ever held. Many fine people are volunteering their time and knowledge. I am proud to be part of putting this event together and helping to oversee the clinical treatment.

Personal Life

My wife Judy and I met in the Navy. She was a registered nurse. Together we have raised (and survived) four children. We are blessed with five grandchildren who keep us laughing, both at their antics and at the fact that our children now understand the “joys” of parenting. I’m known as “Boppy” to my grandchildren.

Besides spending time with my wonderful family and friends, I enjoy long-distance cycling, snow skiing, whitewater and sea kayaking, and fly fishing.
